The @TAPMI Bangalore (MAHE Manipal) and the University of Southampton UK organized the LEAD X AI - AI-Powered Future Leadership Conference on Oct 28, and 29. I was fortunate to lead a panel discussion and share a few thoughts on AI Startups in the Indian scenario, Capital flow, risks, and growth opportunities. The two-day event brought together corporate leaders, investors, academic and policy leaders, and young students in discussions, mastermind programs, panels, and leaderboard conversations. Hugely useful, informative, and enlightening discussions there.

This Money Control story is an update on their earlier coverage but an excellent complement to my last week’s post covering the Nasscom AI Foundry Cohort #1.

I am reproducing a paragraph here from the article and I quote -

McKinsey estimates that gen AI could add upwards of $4.4 T to the global economy annually. Per Nasscom, the Indian gen AI market has already raised $590 Million.
