I am the first guy to agree that for the last 15 years or so the human race has been on a wild goose chase running after every crap (and mostly fake crap) on the smartphone screen and losing sanity. Of course, it has saved lives and time too but at what cost? The collective planetary GDP certainly went down a notch, to say the least.
So when the Humane AI Pin showed up on my screen, I loved the idea. Such a relief that we don’t need to freaking stare at a dumb piece of plastic wrapper and wait for it to save the planet. Enslavement specialist at scale - that’s what it’s been.
I was hoping the Smartwatch would have done some of that except that it didn’t and also gave many a pain in the wrist! And then the smart eyewear - which I think is stillborn - why thrust the world’s fake news into your beautiful pair of naturally gifted eyes?
So I basically gave up. And then came Imran.
